It appears that it was nothing more than the beginning of Jesus invisible heavenly presence. So, if his heavenly presence began in 1914, where was he living before then? Was he visibly living on Pluto or somewhere? If he was enthroned as King of God's Kingdom on 1914, it appears that he became king of nothing except a title. Now I guess he's privileged to be king of the pedophile protectors or something.

Additionally, with the 'calling' of young, new GB members, I believe the new boys would like to see more fresh faces in Bethel that have less seniority than them, didn't know them as peers before they 'stepped into the light', and will be in silent awe of their relatively unimpressive leadership. some quick advice for faders re: level of field service activity.
btw, this assumes you have no problem turning in "fluffed up" hours as part of a reverse "theocratic warfare" strategy.
if you really don't care one way or the other whether you turn in a field service report, turn one in at least every 6 months with one hour of "time" on it.
It's always effective to find other time fluffers to 'work with' in service. Meet with the group and have pre-arranged plans. Do a couple 'social calls', coffee break, run errands, bathroom break, finish with another 'social call'. TADA! You're done for the month and you were visible. Actually, that is what many pioneers actually do to 'make their time'. And don't forget to regularly count the "family study" that you aren't really having.
I agree for faders that need to stay 'in', average 4-7 hrs. Throw in some 1-2 hr months every so often with the excuse of weather, illness, or something. Meeting attendance is required unless you can come up with an excuse such as "the cat threw up in my dress shoes". If you can't come up with a good excuse, go to the meeting and take note of everyone missing and inquire about their excuses. You might come up with a good one for next week. (Note to other brothers: You can't use PMS as an excuse, I found out that excuse only works for the sisters.)

i just joined this forum today after reading the comments on today's watchtower (which i have to attend in about an hour unfortunately).
i was raised in "the truth" and it was only recently that i began to listen to a close friend of mine as he pointed out the secrets and lies that is the watchtower society and governing body.
even though he was informing me for almost a year, he never gave up on me.

when i think back, i remember being excited in the 80's.
i remember the 5p food token strips at twickenham, london.
you could get hot fresh doughnuts and burgers.
I remember the disappointed and empty feeling at the end. I felt utterly let down.
There was so much to arrange beforehand, long distance to travel, work to be done there, uncomfortable seats, usually hard to see or hear. So much preparation, so many promises of excitement and wonderful spiritual things. At the end, it was excitement for what? Another not-so-great book released? New 'friends' not worth keeping in touch with? There were no 'miracles', no 'prophecies', no flashes of wonderful new light, nothing worthwhile of a spiritual nature. I tried meeting sisters there, but the selection was either 'frigid pioneer looking for a window-washing partner' or 'out of my league and soon to be out of the truth hotties'. The best memories were the occasional fun things we did afterward.
